Subj: [#047] My First Billion: i had gave up on this…

Tuesday, I had a Luke 5:5-7 moment and didn't realize it until the next morning while journaling.

If you don't know the story, Peter and his crew had been fishing all night and caught nothing.

After Jesus taught from their boat, He told them to throw the nets out one more time.

Peter was like…

"Bruh, we been out here ALL night and ain't caught nothing." (that’s the Chill Gates' translation, btw)

But he did it anyway.

And with less effort, just from his obedience, the nets pulled in so many fish the boat almost sank.

They had to call the other fishermen over to help pull it in.

Here's what happened to me Wednesday…

I was setting up more of my ATM ad system…

Moving ads over from my old ad account, the one that got banned a few months ago for no reason at all.

(this account had campaigns that were super profitable before it got shut down, so I was a little frustrated initially but knew all would work out)

I'd tried to duplicate those results in a new account, same pixel and everything, and they just never hit the same.

I was like, "aight, let me see what God gone do with this" and just worked with what I had.

While working on the ads in the new ad account…

I got a pop-up saying I could request a review of the old account.

Now, I've tried that "request review" process before. Several times.

They declined me every time.

I almost didn't do it again Wednesday, but I did.

The AI review system moved me to an actual person.

After a couple of messages, she said…

"This'll be faster if we just hop on the phone."

I'm like... "Oh, this has never happened."

I said, "Ok, bet."

We get on, and she has me share my screen to show her the message that my account was disabled.

It wasn't there.

I hit refresh to find it and couldn't. (lol)

The account had "magically" turned back on.

She seemed to be just as surprised as I was lol

Just like that, with almost no extra effort, I got the account back.

And during my journaling session Wednesday, I was reminded that…

Just like Peter, I'd been toiling.

I'd tried the same thing over and over with nothing to show for it. I had written it off.

Before the lady and I got on the call, I went ahead and thanked God for the account being re enabled and surrendered the results to Him.

The breakthrough wasn't behind more effort…

It was behind one more act of obedience, the "net throw" I almost didn't make.

Why am I sharing this?

Because if you've been toiling, trusting your own effort…

If you've tried the thing before and it took you nowhere…

If you're about to write it off (or already did)...

Throw the net one more time.

Now here's the business side of that fish story.

Getting that account back isn't just sentimental.

That account is where the 2-day ads were running...

…and those ads were doing something I want you to pay attention to.

People saw them, got on the phone with me, and enrolled without ever bringing up the 2-day part.

They weren't shopping. They were already sold before we talked.

That's the whole point of a real ad system.

Great marketing makes selling unnecessary, so the call is only about fit.

So I'm getting that account updated and turning those ads back on top of week.

The rest of the week consisted of…

→ Shot two new episodes of the Strategic Scale Show

→ Ran a pop-up workshop to our list

→ Got the ad ecosystem up and rolling

→ Coached our new SDR, mostly perspective and expectation setting.

Her whole role is booking quality calls with me, and she's been doing her thing with it.

Light week on the surface. Heavy week underneath.

Most weeks on the way to a billion look like that.

So... what's the net you already pulled in and left in the boat?

Hit reply and let me know.

I read every one of them. I’ll reply Monday once back in the office because the next 2 days I’m at our CEO Camp with our clients.

Tell those you love that you love them.
